Jay-Z kicks off in ten days.  But six months ago, Barclays was only starting to peel off its winter coat.  During the colder months, much of the work on Barclays was focused inside.  Late last year, initial placement of the arena's distinctive outer rusted panels started at the corner of Sixth Avenue, and proceeded west along Atlantic Avenue.  Work also headed in the other direction down Sixth.  And by Spring of this year, Dean Street between Flatbush and Sixth Avenue was the final portion of arena left with a view of the interior infrastructure.  Once the tarps were removed and panelling concluded along this stretch, work would then focus on the main entrance and plaza currently heading towards completion as I speak.
