Mother Nature cooperated considerably over the Winter, as little to no snow kept work on Barclays moving at a spirited pace.  Pictured here, construction on Barclays Center was a month shy of its first anniversary.  Rising high above Atlantic Avenue, giant support columns erected in 2010 rose from the arena's foundation like California Redwoods.  The view from street level changed over the winter.  Construction went horizontal.  Connecting to the massive support columns, crossbeams began forming structure indicating the multiple decks and sections.  In this photo taken from Sixth Avenue at Pacific Street, the first deck above street level appears ready for its first pouring of concrete.
