BOXSCORE 1/12/2021 - It appears as if Los Aguilas turns the tables from game one, taking their turn jumping out to a prompt 2-0 lead. Facing Gigantes' starter Paolo Espino, shortstop Jonathan Villar triples leading off the bottom of the first and scored on the double from center fielder Juan Lagares. After Melky Cabrera advances the runners along, first baseman Rangel Ravelo singles home Lagares. But Los Aguilas' lead does not last long. Gigantes' first baseman Peter O'Brien plates Cibao's first run with a sac-fly, and second baseman Richard Ureña singles home the tying run in the top of the second. In the third inning, first baseman Ronald Guzman plates the go-ahead run on a single hit back through the box. Cibao continues pulling away in the sixth with an RBI double off the bat of Richard Uraña and two more runs in the seventh on back-to-back doubles by Ronald Guzman and third baseman Kelvin Gutierrez. Pablo Espino earns the win, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks with five strikeouts through six innings pitched. Aguilas' right-hander Yunesky Maya takes the loss.

BOXSCORE 1/12/2021 - Naranjeros starter, southpaw Juan Oramas yields just four hits and one walk with eight strikeouts through seven innings pitched for the victory. The bullpen joins together for two scoreless innings to complete the shutout over Los Sultanes in the semifinal opener at Estadio Sonora, Hermosillo. Designated hitter Isaac Paredes connects on a two-run home run off Monterrey starter Romario Gil in the third inning.

BOXSCORE 1/12/2021 - The defending LMP champions Tomateros de Culiacan outpace the Yaquis de Obregon in the first game of their semifinal series. Culiacan first baseman Jesse Castillo leads the charge going 2 for 4 with a double, home run, and four runs batted in. Right fielder Sebastian Elizalde also goes 2 for 4 with a home run and two runs batted in. Third baseman Michael Wing and center fielder Yoelkis Guibert each account for a run batted in apiece. The heart of Obregon's lineup answers with seven runs. Left fielder Leandro Castro is 3 for 5 at the plate with three runs batted in; first baseman Victor Mendoza doubles and drives in two runs; and right fielder Dariel Álvarez accounts for Los Yaquis final two runs batted in. Both starting pitchers escape with no decisions. Tomateros reliever Aldo Montes earns the victory, and Yaquis reliever Miguel Aguilar suffers the loss.
