With two outs and the bases loaded, catcher Ramon Cabrera singles home two runs, and shortstop Edwin Garcia drives home another. Aragua scores three more times in the seventh on another bases-loaded hit from Ramon Cabrera and an Edwin Garcia sac-fly. Then it's a matter of holding on. Aragua yields a run on the sixth on a passed ball, and designated hitter Gorkys Hernandez singles home a run in the eighth. Facing Tigres reliever Wirfin Obispo in the ninth inning, right fielder Rene Reyes connects on a two-run home run, but Los Cardenales would score no more. Tigres starter Logan Duran yields just one run on three hits and two walks with five strikeouts through six innings for the victory.

BOXSCORE 1/18/21 Los Navegantes inch one step closer to the championship round with Monday's victory over Los Caribes. Magallanes crank out 15 hits en route to a commanding 13-5 victory at Estadio Jose Bernardo Perez. Right fielder Danry Vasquez leads the charge with a double, home run, and six runs batted in. Designated hitter Renato Núñez and catcher Carlos Perez each drive home two runs apiece. Right-hander Deolis Guerra picks up the win in relief.
