Carlos Delgadohit his first home run for the Gigantes de Carolina on Jan 7th. Previous to the home run he had 3 hits in 8 at-bats. With Carolina's victory over los Criollos de Caguas Thursday, los Gigantes clinched a playoff spot, and are currently in second place. Los Lobos de Arecibo clinched the division a week ago.
It's getting closer to tournament time. Venezuela has most of their playoff teams set, and likewise Mexico.
