Winter League Update: Domincan Republic Finals


OK, Jose Offerman cost the D.R. league some cover time in my blog for his indignant behavior.  None-the-less, here is your D.R. update:


If it wasn't for Jose-Go Away-Offerman I would have told you the two teams facing off for the Dominican Baseball League Championship were Los Gigantes del Cibao versus Los Leones del Escogido.

That series completed game one.  Gigantes lead the series one game up.  Francisco Liriano  (Twins) took the loss for Los Leones.
