Art Rust Jr. passed away Tuesday. He lost a battle with Parkinson's disease.
Mr. Arthur George Rust Jr. was the first sports show I ever listened to on the radio. He was the pioneer of sports radio here in New York, the first I ever remember.. I listened to him on 77WABC as a teenager and was the first sports personality I ever spoke with. I am very sorry and saddened to have heard this news today. Be well my friend and may you Rest In Peace.
