On Monday, May 17, 1926, in a game featuring Eastern Colored League members, the Brooklyn Royal Giants defeat the Oscar Charleston managed Harrisburgh Giants on their grounds by the final score, 10 to 6. Heavy rain delayed the game in the sixth, and in the eighth, ended it.While Oscar Charleston patrolled center field, the Harrisburgh Giants also featured outfielders Rap Dixon and Fats Jenkins and third baseman John Beckwith. The 1926 Royal Giants are managed by Jock Waters. They are being headlined by Jesse Hubbard, Bill Holland, Charlie Smith, and of course, Dick "Cannonball" Redding.
