The New Atlantic League Champions

THE
YORK REVOLUTION
are the new
ATLANTIC LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

There was a Revolution in Connecticut tonight; a YORK REVOLUTION.
The Atlantic Leaguers from Pennsylvania won this year's championship and their first as an organization after finishing last in the standings last season.

Thing is, Bridgeport was within one out of securing their first victory of the series.  The Bluefish led 4-1 in this game.  York surged late, tied the score and sent the contest into the realm of
Free Baseball.

York scored 4 runs in their last three innings.  In what can only be described as a meltdown, the Bluefish committed three critical errors.  With two outs in the 9th, a ground ball to Bridgeport third baseman Joe Jiannetti resulted in the ball being thrown away and the tying run scoring.

The York Revolution won the game in 10 innings by a score of 5-4.  They sweep the championship series 3 games to none.

Ramon Castro was named series MVP.
