Somerset evens the series at one apiece with a 3-1 victory over the Ducks at the Pond on Wednesday.  Patriots starter Thomas Dorminy limited Long Island to a lone run on seven hits and three walks with seven strikeouts to earn his first victory of the season.  The Ducks ruined his bid at a shut out in the seventh when Ramon Cabrera led-off with a double, advanced to third on Vladimir Frias' base hit through the middle, then scored on Ezequiel Carrera's sac-fly to left.

Jake Fisher climbed the bump for the Ducks yielding three runs (two earned) on eight hits and two walks with three strikeouts through six innings pitched.  His record falls to 3-5 for the season with an unsightly 5.04 ERA.

Long Island remains 1.5 games ahead of the second place Patriots.
