The Bay Improvement Group is sponsoring a FREE presentation that is open to the public by the Brooklyn Borough Official Historian, Ron Schweiger, on the Brooklyn Dodgers and Ebbets Field this Monday, May 14, at 8pm at the Sunrise Assisted Living, 2211 Emmons Avenue, Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn.
B.I.G.'s Annual History Night is the kickoff for the week of BAYFEST, Bay Improvement Group's 8-block waterfront celebration. They ask that you merely come out and enjoy the talk, and the more the merrier. Everyone is welcome to come to History Night and remember, it is free to the public. There will be a show and tell, and light refreshments afterwards. Should be a fun night as they revisit Ebbets Field, and celebrate what would have been the park's 100th Anniversary season.
Gather in the meeting room at the Sunrise Assisted Living located at 2211 Emmons Avenue, in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. MONDAY ~ MAY 14, 2012 ~ 8pm.
