FOOTBALL SUNDAY ~ WEEK SIX
Friday Line ~ NYP

Giants +6 1/2 (49ERS)
The Giants have David Baas, and the Niners have Brandon Jacobs, and Mario Manningham.  So each team knows the other's secrets.  There are no secrets.  I expect nothing short of another hard hitting, close game.  San Francisco I think will win.  The Giants have many injuries to over come.  There is no reason they can't keep the game close though, and find themselves in a position to win.
WIN; 26-3 Giants

JETS -3 1/2 (Colts)
This game should lift the the Jets confidence somewhat.  D-Generation Rex has to prove they can beat somebody; anybody; at this point.  The Colts will be a good start.
WIN; 35-9 Jets

Bengals -1 1/2 (BROWNS)
Sure enough, the Bengals blew it in Week Five.  What a flaky team!  I still like them on the road against Cleveland.  Remember, I get Browns games wrong at a remarkable clip.  Take it for what it is worth.
LOSS; 34-24 Browns

BUCS -4 (Chiefs)
Bad Karma follows the Chiefs around this week after their fans made a fool of themselves last week.
WIN; 38-10 Bucs

FALCONS-9 (Raiders)
Flyin' high.  Falcons beat the Skins last week.  They will beat the visiting Raiders this week.  A bad west coast team coming east spells doom.
LOSS; 23-20 Falcons

Cowboys +3 1/2 (RAVENS)
Will the real Ravens defense please stand up?  Boy, are they looking suspect.  The Cowboys are probably due for a win anyway.
WIN; 31-29 Ravens

Lions +4 (EAGLES)
I keep leaning on the Lions, and keep getting burned.  This is the second consecutive season Philly was supposed to run away with the division.  Instead they willingly chose to remain in the pack.
WIN; 26-23 Lions  o.t.

DOLPHINS -3 1/2 (Rams)
Hey, why not.  Both haven't played as badly as you might think.  Miami a little better though.
LOSS; 17-14 Dolphins

SEAHAWKS +3 1/2 (Patriots)
For all Tom Brady's greatness, the guy is a freakin' statue.  I still can't get over what the Seattle D-Line did to Aaron Rogers.  And many know playing in Seattle is the noisiest place in the NFL.  Yeah, I smell upset.
WIN; 24-23 Seahawks

CARDINALS -5 (Bills)
The desert is no place for a Buffalo.  I even smell blow out.
LOSS; 19-16 Bills  o.t.

Vikings + 1 1/2 (REDSKINS)
This has nothing to do this RG3's concussion.  The Vikings are an overwhelmingly hot team right now.
LOSS; 38-26 Redskins

Packers +3 1/2 (TEXANS)
No, I'm not too confident about this pick.  I think the Texans are tougher than the Pack.  But Aaron Rodgers is due to go off any game now.  And if it weren't for a case of butter fingers, and tips, the Jets almost lit up the Texans last week.
WIN; 42-24 Packers

*Schmear of the Week:
Jets -3 1/2
WIN

Happy Football Sunday everyone!
