FINAL

Underestimate St. Francis(BK) at your on risk.  Just ask the Blackbirds who on MLK Day became the twelfth opponent this season to learn the hard way.  Up by 19-points at the half, the Remsen Street Terriers fend-off LIU's second half charge for a nine point margin of victory.  In turn, the Blackbirds are denied a third straight victory at the Wellness Center, while St. Francis(BK) rolls to their NEC leading twelfth overall victory of the season.

Despite Raiquan Clarke's game high 29-points and 14 rebounds, the Blackbirds only shoot 21/58 (36.2%) from the floor, and just 3/19 (15.8 %) from three-point range.

Robert Morris remains perched atop the NEC standings with a 5-1 conference record.  Both St. Francis(BK) and Sacred Heart are a game back with 4-2 records, while the LIU Blackbirds are bunched in a three-way tie with a 3-3 conference record, and 9-9 record overall.

The Blackbirds are headed to Maryland where they'll take on Mount St. Mary's on Thursday.
