The arena is finally taking form.

The building in the far right of this picture, with the store front over-hangs and flag poles fixed above, is the Atlantic Center Mall. The exterior was designed to subtly mimic a ball park. That is the location where Walter O'Malley wanted to build a new Ebbets Field for the Dodgers. The street behind the wooded fence on the right is Atlantic Avenue. Flatbush Avenue intersects Atlantic Avenue from this picture's left-to-right.
