The BROOKLYN CYCLONES Baseball Club
defeated the Aberdeen IronBirds (BALT) tonight at MCU Park by a score of 2-0.
The game also concludes a series sweep over Aberdeen.
Tonight's victory all but assures the Cyclones will clinch their fourth
McNamara Division Title. Their Magic number is now 2.

The Cyclones improved their New York - Penn League's
best over-all record to 43-21.
The Cyclones' season wraps up on Monday SEPT. 5th, 2010.
The Playoffs will start post haste. I'm eagerly waiting to get my playoff tickets.
It's going to be a wild time at Coney Island as we Brooklynites continue to
root for and celebrate our Cyclones in their 10th Anniversary Season.
Tonight the Cyclones leave on a short road trip and will return to Coney Island on Tuesday.
By then I suspect they will have clinched the division.
So tonight was somewhat sweet in it's own way.
Tonight was RON DARLING BobbleHead Night.
He was in attendance greeting and shaking hands with the fans.

Now that looks like a good time. Bobbleheads are great giveaways. They're giving away free kids jerseys at the Whitecaps this week, but don't think I'll be getting that far south. We'll probably get our free baseballs in Traverse City. Keep enjoying the rest of the summer.

ReplyDeleteDodgerB ~ LOL it's not a Weaver bbh. I see the one you're talking about. It's a Joe Smith bbh...he also played on the Cyclones and made the big club 2 yrs ago. I really only have Cyclones bbh and the ones they give.
